This postnatal yoga class is a specialized program designed to support women through their physical and emotional recovery during the first year after childbirth.

Blending yoga, Pilates, and strength training, each class offers a thoughtful and progressive approach to help you rebuild strength, restore your core, and reconnect with your body—at your own pace.


A Thoughtful Approach to Recovery

Each session is designed to guide you safely through your recovery journey:

  • Core & Pelvic Floor
    Reconnect with your deep core through breath work and gentle, targeted exercises that support the pelvic floor, spine, and abdominal muscles.

  • Progressive Strength
    Gradually build strength using Pilates-based movements and light weights to support your upper body and overall stamina.

  • Alignment & Stability
    Improve posture, balance, and body awareness so you feel more supported in your daily life as a mother.


Support for Body & Mind

Postnatal recovery is more than physical—it’s emotional too.

  • Breath work to calm the nervous system and create balance

  • Relaxation and guided rest to release tension and restore energy

Each class creates space for you to slow down, reset, and reconnect.


A Supportive Community

Classes are held at Mind Body Zone in Fremont, typically on Saturdays following prenatal sessions.

This is a space where mothers come together to:

  • Feel supported and understood

  • Share the postpartum journey

  • Build connection and community

No prior experience is needed—this class is open to all mothers, whether or not you practiced during pregnancy.

  • Yoga – for mobility, alignment, and mindful movement

  • Pilates – to reconnect and strengthen the core

  • Strength Training – to rebuild stamina and support daily motherhood
